📌 Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. This is a great opportunity for nurses with strong telemetry skills who are comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care setting.

🩺 Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for adult and geriatric populations
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms (telemetry)
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Manage patients with conditions such as diabetes, HTN, CAD, CVA, and renal failure
• Perform central line, PICC line, and peripheral IV care
• Respond to emergencies and participate in rapid response/code teams
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes 

✅ Requirements:

• Active SC RN License or Compact License (required prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• BLS from AHA (required)
• ACLS (required)
• NIHSS (preferred)
• Strong telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills 

💡 Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous charge nurse experience
• Community hospital experience
• Experience with Epic charting system 

🏥 Assignment Details:

• Patient Ratio: 1:5–6
• Unit Type: Med Surg / Telemetry
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: Yes, within scope
• On-Call: Not required
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted 

💰 Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive weekly pay (based on experience & stipends)
