Overview:
Seeking a detail-oriented RN with strong perioperative experience to support surgical patients across the care continuum. This role focuses on patient assessment, pre-admission testing (PAT), education, and safe, high-quality care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments across all age groups (pediatric to geriatric)
• Deliver direct patient care and demonstrate strong clinical and emergency response skills
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, education, and outcomes
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative assessments and patient/family education
• Review and ensure accuracy of Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) orders based on procedure and patient condition
• Prioritize patient care needs and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure efficient, safe care delivery
• Maintain professionalism, patient confidentiality (HIPAA), and a patient-centered approach
• Follow all safety protocols, including National Patient Safety Goals

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Active RN license
• BLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred)
