Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to evaluate and treat patients with cognitive and/or physical functional limitations. The OT will develop and implement individualized care plans in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform patient evaluations for cognitive and ADL-related functional impairments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions including ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, and use of assistive devices
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Document all patient care activities accurately in the EMR system
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and clinical standards
• Provide education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Complete discharge summaries and evaluate treatment outcomes
• Participate in care conferences, team meetings, and required trainings
• Supervise and support OTAs, rehab aides, and students as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience – Required
• LTC or Rehab experience – Required
• Active Missouri OT License – Required
• Must follow NBCOT / AOTA standards and state practice guidelines
