• Types of patients: Rehab/Med Surg (Brain Injury, Limb Loss, Spinal Cord Injury)

• Bed Size: 23

• Drips: Heparin

• Ratios: Day shift - 5:1.... Night shift - 7:1

• Unit size:

• ILH 12 BEDS, IMMC 23 BEDS

What types of Rehab patients will the clinician care for?

• Acute Rehab patient population can be: Spinal cord injury, brain injury, oncology, limb loss, trauma/ortho, general debilitation. Nurses with Acute Rehab background or Med-Surg background are the most successful with our population.
