📌 Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a fast-paced, high-volume ED. This is an excellent opportunity for seasoned travelers who thrive in dynamic environments and are comfortable handling a wide range of emergency cases.

🚑 Responsibilities

• Provide rapid assessment and treatment for emergency patients
• Manage high-acuity cases including trauma, stroke, and sepsis
• Perform and assist with procedures such as RSI, central lines, and tPA administration
• Monitor patient status and respond to critical changes
• Care for diverse patient populations, including behavioral health patients
• Coordinate patient transfers in compliance with EMTALA
• Collaborate with physicians, medics, and interdisciplinary teams 

✅ Requirements

• Active RN License (VA or Compact)
• Minimum 2–3 years of ER experience
• 2–3 prior travel assignments required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS from AHA (required)
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced ER settings
• Full SSN is required at the time of submission.
• Local candidates are not eligible; candidates must have a permanent address more than 50 miles from the facility.

• Staffing: ~50 RNs / 25 Medics
• Patient Ratio: 4–6:1
• Charting System: Meditech
• Floating: None
• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• On-Call: Not required
