$2,452 / Week | 13 Weeks | Days

Schedule: 5 days a weeks, 9:30am - 6:00pm, Flex Schedule - General 8 hour days but could work up to 12 hours.  On Call - No Block Scheduling - No

Job Description:

• Responsible for assisting, supporting and educating women during the four stages of delivery: antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal.
• Sits with and monitors patient throughout (before/during/after) the labor.
• Monitors contractions and helps patient with breathing techniques.
• Monitoring the fetal heart rate and mother's vital signs.
• Cares for patients on Pitocin, MgSO4 & continuous lumbar epidural.
• Checks patient’s cervix periodically to monitor progression/lack of dilation.

Qualifications and Job Info:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS required
• NRP required
• Must have women's health experience - OBGYN, fetal monitoring (must already had training), triage experience, patient phone calls
• Must have an Active MI State Nursing license
• BSN preferred
