📌 Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a high-acuity cardiac program. This facility is a Level II Trauma Center with a strong reputation for cardiac care, offering exposure to advanced interventional procedures in a collaborative environment.

🫀 Responsibilities

Assist with and monitor patients during cardiac catheterization procedures
Provide care for patients undergoing interventional cardiology procedures
Administer medications, including emergency cardiac drugs
Monitor hemodynamics and patient response during procedures
Support pre- and post-procedure patient care
Participate in on-call rotation and emergency cases

✅ Requirements

Active RN License (SC or Compact)
Minimum 1–2 years of Cath Lab experience
Strong knowledge of cardiac medications and emergency response
Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment
Full SSN is required at the time of submission.
Local candidates are not eligible; candidates must have a permanent address more than 50 miles from the facility.

💡 Preferred Qualifications

Experience with MacLab and Meditech charting systems
Previous experience in high-volume Cath Labs
Strong teamwork and communication skills

🏥 Assignment Details

Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
Labs: 2
Cases: ~10 per day
Procedures Include:
- Left Heart Cath (LHC)
- PCI (stents)
- TAVR
- Pacemaker (PPM)
- Impella
- IABP
Call Requirement: 7–9 call days/month (including at least 1 weekend)
Weekend/Holiday: Rotational coverage required
Charting Systems: MacLab, Meditech
Scrubs: Provided
