Description
Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week.
HOLIDAYS AS REQUIRED. EVERY OTHER WEEKEND.
Our Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) is a
8-bed high acuity unit that provides complex monitoring and treatment of adult cardiac patients.
CICU receives patients from the Cath Lab, ED, and Acute Care areas who require specialized cardiac care. Nurses must exhibit high levels of professional competency.
The nurses work to collaborate with all disciplines of the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Education - Required
- Associated degree in nursing
Certifications – Required
- AHA ACLS
- AHA BLS
- AHA NIH
- OR RED CROSS
Licenses – Required
- Registered Nurse State of Alabama or compact license (No Temp Licenses' accepted)
Experience - Required:
- 2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of RECENT experience in the field of specialty.
