Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing high-acuity patients, including stroke and STEMI cases, and be skilled in handling critical care drips in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Schedule:

• Shift: 3 x 12-hour night shifts
• Shift Time: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required

Requirements:

• Must live 100+ miles away from facility
• Minimum 2 years ER experience required
• Experience managing stroke, STEMI, and critical care patients with drips
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state/district
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS certifications required
• Cerner experience required
• BSN highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency nursing care to high-acuity and critical patients
• Manage cardiac and neurological emergencies including STEMI and stroke cases
• Administer and monitor IV drips and critical medications
• Perform rapid assessment, triage, and stabilization of patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams in ER setting
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner system
• Ensure adherence to hospital safety and clinical protocols
