Description
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a day shift travel assignment. The candidate must have strong NICU and adult critical care experience and be proficient with ventilator management in high-acuity hospital settings.
Schedule:
- Shift: 3 x 12-hour day shifts
Requirements:
- Must live 100+ miles away from facility
- Must hold active RRT license (CRT not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience required
- NICU and Adult critical care experience required (mandatory)
- Experience with Dräger ventilators required
- Cerner experience required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care to NICU, pediatric, and adult patients
- Manage and monitor ventilator settings (including Dräger systems)
- Perform respiratory assessments and therapeutic interventions
- Assist in critical care and emergency respiratory situations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Document patient care accurately in Cerner system
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards
