Description

Job Summary

The Multispecialty Sonographer performs a wide range of basic to advanced ultrasound procedures across multiple specialties. This role requires strong clinical expertise to review patient history, determine appropriate imaging protocols, and expand exams as needed to support accurate diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities

Perform ultrasound procedures including:
- Abdominal
- OB/GYN
- Cardiac (ECHO)
- Vascular
- Musculoskeletal
- Small parts
Evaluate patient history to determine exam objectives
Modify and expand imaging studies as clinically necessary
Ensure high-quality imaging and patient care
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams

Qualifications

Education

Graduate of an accredited sonography program

Experience

Minimum 2 years of multispecialty sonography experience

Certifications (Required)

Basic Life Support (BLS) – within 30 days of hire

Credential Requirements (Mandatory)

Must have TWO credentials in separate specialties, such as:

ARDMS – RDMS: AB, BR, OB/GYN, PS
ARDMS – RDCS: AE, FE, PE
ARDMS – RVT
ARDMS – RMSKS
ARRT – S, VS, BS

Candidates must have ARDMS in AB or OB or RVT with at least 2 years of multispecialty experience
