Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) – Travel Assignment
Location: Willits, CA
Facility: Adventist Health – Frank R. Howard Memorial Hospital
Assignment Details
- Start Date: May 11, 2026
- Shift: Day Shift (06:00 AM – 06:30 PM)
- Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts (no set schedule)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On-Call: None
- Floating: Required between Frank Howard Memorial Hospital and Ukiah Valley
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to provide comprehensive respiratory care across multiple units in a rural healthcare setting. The role requires adaptability and the ability to support both critical care and obstetric patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory therapy services across all patient populations
- Support critical care and OB patients, including neonatal resuscitation
- Administer treatments, monitor patients, and respond to respiratory emergencies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float between facilities as needed to support staffing requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Active California RCP License (Required)
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP Certifications (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience
- Experience in critical care required; OB experience preferred
- Cerner EMR experience required (Epic experience a plus)
Additional Information
- No on-call requirements
- Must be flexible with scheduling and floating
- Experience in rural or multi-unit settings is highly preferred
