Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team" where there will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event, as impacts vary.
By signing your travel contract to take a position with Ochsner Health, you accept the above and will report as assigned by your immediate unit manager if an emergency event were to occur. You should not apply for a role at Ochsner Health if you are not comfortable with the above.

High acuity ICU
Patient Ratio: 1:2
Float requirement to other ICUs and SDUs
Epic experience required
Preferred Exp with PA catheters & balloon pumps
No block scheduling requests please
CVICU Skills: Caring for post op CABG, valve replacement/repaor, aortic dissection, IABP, PA Cath
SICU Skills: General post op care for surgical recovery patients
Transplant Recovery: Liver, heart, lungs, kidney, pancreas
Experience with Continous Renal Replacement Therapy
Required Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, NIH Cert
