Requirements

• Active Indiana RN license (required at submission)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications (required)
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient acute care RN experience
• Experience with Epic electronic medical records system

Schedule

• Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Key Responsibilities

Assessment

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments per policy or as patient condition requires
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and independent decision-making

Care Planning & Implementation

• Develop, prioritize, and implement individualized care plans
• Continuously review and revise care plans as needed
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Utilize organizational resources effectively to meet patient and unit needs

Evaluation

• Monitor patient responses to interventions
• Accurately document clinical outcomes and progress

Education

• Provide and coordinate education tailored to patient and family needs
• Evaluate effectiveness of education during hospitalization and at discharge

Leadership

• Delegate tasks appropriately to licensed and unlicensed personnel
• Serve as a mentor and/or preceptor
• Promote teamwork and a collaborative environment
• Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement
• Participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Engage in the Practice Governance model
