Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
- Provides professional nursing care to assigned patients.
- Assesses patients, develops and documents nursing care and discharge plans, and prepares and administers medications and interventions.
- Supervises nursing attendants and ancillary staff in patient care activities.
- Superb communication and customer service skills are required at all times to interact effectively with all patients.
- The Staff Nurse will assist with the following procedures: High Resolution Anoscopy (HRA), IRC/Banding, Excisions (skin tag, pilonidal cyst, lipomas), Peripheral Nerve Evaluation (PNE) and Alabations.
Requirements:
- RN NY License
- BLS
- Procedural and HRA experience
- Use of electronic clinical information system.
