Travel Pharmacist – Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a Travel Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment in a community hospital setting. This role is ideal for a pharmacist who is comfortable working independently and managing a wide range of inpatient pharmacy responsibilities.

Job Overview

• Specialty: Pharmacist (Clinical)
• Schedule: 5x8s (Day Shift)
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Setting: Acute Care Community Hospital

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective medication management for inpatient populations
• Review, verify, and dispense medications in accordance with hospital protocols
• Monitor medication therapy and ensure appropriate dosing and administration
• Collaborate with providers, nurses, and healthcare teams to optimize patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and medication records
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and support pharmacy operations

Requirements

• PharmD or Registered Pharmacist (RPh) degree
• Active Pharmacist license (or eligibility for licensure at time of submission)
• BLS certification required
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws and medication safety standards
