Travel Pharmacist – Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist (Night Shift)

We are seeking a Travel Pharmacist for a 16-week assignment in a hospital setting. This role is ideal for a pharmacist who is comfortable working independently on night shift while providing comprehensive clinical support across a large patient population.

Job Overview

• Specialty: Pharmacist (Inpatient Clinical)
• Schedule: 7 on / 7 off (Night Shift)
• Shift: 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Contract Length: 16 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Setting: Acute Care Hospital

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight clinical pharmacy services to support safe and effective medication therapy
• Review, verify, and manage medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
• Monitor and adjust medication regimens including renal dosing, anticoagulation, and pharmacokinetics
• Support care for a wide range of patient populations including adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients
• Utilize automated dispensing systems and manage medication distribution
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements

• PharmD or Registered Pharmacist (RPh) degree
• Active Pharmacist license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of hospital pharmacy experience required
• Strong inpatient clinical experience required
• Experience with Pyxis or similar medication systems preferred
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment

Additional Details

• 7 on / 7 off night shift schedule
• Every other weekend included within rotation
• No call required
• Temp-to-perm opportunity available
