Description

Travel Pharmacist – Retail Pharmacist

We are seeking a Travel Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment in a retail pharmacy setting. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist looking for schedule flexibility in a patient-focused environment.

Job Overview

Specialty: Pharmacist (Retail)
Schedule: Flexible (Typically 40 hours/week)
Shift: Varied shifts between 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Setting: Retail Pharmacy

Responsibilities

Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in a retail pharmacy setting
Provide patient counseling on medications, usage, and side effects
Administer vaccinations as needed
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards
Utilize pharmacy systems for prescription processing and documentation
Deliver excellent customer service and support patient care needs
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain workflow and efficiency

Requirements

Active Pharmacist license (must be in hand at time of submission)
BLS certification required
Minimum 1+ year of current retail pharmacy experience required
Vaccination certification required
Strong customer service and communication skills
Experience with retail pharmacy systems (RX30 preferred)

Additional Details

Flexible scheduling with ability to accommodate longer shifts if preferred
No weekends required
No holidays required
