Description
Job Title: Cath Lab / Radiologic Technologist (4x10 Days)
Schedule & Work Environment
- Shift: 4x10-hour days (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, subject to change)
- Patient Ratios:
- 1:1 in procedure room
1:3–4 in prep/hold
Certifications & Licensure
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) – Required
- BLS & ACLS Certifications – Required
- Kentucky Radiation License – Required by start date (pending license accepted at submission)
Additional Requirements
- Flu vaccination is required (no exemptions accepted for travelers)
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab / Rad Tech experience required
- Travel experience preferred, but first-time travelers will be considered
- Experience with Impella devices preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Operate radiologic imaging equipment in the cath lab
- Provide patient care before, during, and after procedures
- Monitor patient status and maintain accurate documentation
- Ensure adherence to safety and radiation protection protocols
- Support prep and recovery (hold) areas as needed
