Description
Pride Health is hiring a Sr. Surgical Tech to support our client's medical facility in Corvallis, OR 97330. This is a 3-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Type: Local Contract
Duration: 3 months Contract (Possibilities of extension)
Payrate: $30 - 33/hr. On W2 (Pay Rate is based on experience.)
Schedule: Mon to Thu (4 days/ wk.) | 7 AM to 5:30 PM (40 hrs. wk.)
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during surgical and endoscopy (GI) procedures by anticipating needs and providing appropriate instruments and supplies.
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields throughout procedures, ensuring strict adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Perform surgical scrubbing, gowning, and gloving in accordance with established protocols.
- Set up, organize, and manage surgical instrumentation, equipment, and supplies prior to procedures.
- Monitor and maintain sterility of instruments and the surgical environment at all times.
- Handle, care for, and properly dispose of surgical instruments and biohazard materials post-procedure.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia providers, and other OR staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Support room turnover processes efficiently between procedures.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate concerns as needed.
- Serve as a senior team member by modeling best practices and supporting less experienced staff when applicable.
Qualifications:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – required
- Graduation from an accredited program (CAAHEP or ABHES) – required
- 5+ years of experience as a Certified Surgical Tech – preferred, not required
