General Information:LD Beds: 10 LD beds; 4 OB ED (Triage beds); 4 Antepartum rooms, 2 ORMother/Baby: 20 beds, we do have a nursery, but we encourage our parents to room in and provide couplet care (nurse would need postpartum and newborn nursery experience)Minimum Experience Requirement: 2 years LD experience or 2 Years Postpartum/GYN experienceWill you accept a first-time traveler? YesPatient Types:We see all types of pregnant patients in our labor and delivery. We have the only Level 3 NICU in a 350-mile radius, so we accept patients with almost any kind of risk factor or complication. We care for high-risk all the way down to low-intervention laboring patients. Antepartum, OB triage/ED, postpartum, and infantsmostly postpartum patients. We can see various complications such as pre-eclampsia, HTN, moms needing magnesium sulfate infusions etc. We do occasionally care for simple post-surgical/gynecological patients ex: hysterectomy, ovarian cyst, etcPlease include any applicable area for this traveler to work --Antepartum: 1:3Inactive Labor: 1:2Active Labor: 1:1Postpartum/Couplet care: generally, 1:3 couplets. If needed, we flex up and take on a Nicu mom or max 1:4 coupletsNICU feeder/ grower groups: 1:3Peds: up to 1:5Required: BLS, NRPPreferred: Stable, CBCIf LD trained, (PREFER): ACLS, certification in inpatient obstetrics, electronic fetal monitoring, or inpatient antepartumMust care for couplets and GYN surgicalWould love a candidate with Level 2 nursery baby experience 24 hr testing, bilirubin babies, NAS scoring, late preterm, blood sugar babiesIV starts, phlebotomy, magnesium sulfate administration, blood administration, Insulin gttsIf LD trained: circulate C-sections, C-section recovery care, cervical checks
