·        Number of Beds : 11 Labor Beds/ 2 Triage/ 2 OR

·        Type of equipment : Monica- wireless fetal monitoring/ GE fetal monitoring

·        Documentation system: Meditech/ CPN

·        Floating policy: Float to Sister Facility LD/PP

·        Patient Experience requirements: Bedside Report/ Safety Rounding

Hospital Specifics-

·        Certifications: Burn Certified/ Trauma Certified

Requested Skill Set:

Fetal monitor interpretation, high risk antepartum care active labor management, c-section circulation, post-partum care, circumcision assist procedures, bili light care, lab draw from mother and baby

Must have:

Fetal monitor interpretation, high risk antepartum care active labor management, c-section circulation, post-partum care, circumcision assist procedures, bili light care, lab draw from mother and baby, magnesium administration for pre-eclamptic  patients

Advanced skills needed:

NRP, BLS

Procedures performed on unit:  

C-section, circumcision, vaginal deliveries, antepartum testing, ultra sounds

Certifications Required:

Fetal Monitor Certification
