Job Details
- Position: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Employment Type: Travel
- Location: Ottumwa, Iowa
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
- Number of Openings: 1
- Facility Size: 75 beds
- Patient Population: Adults, geriatrics, neonatal, pediatrics (including possible micro-premies to hospice)
- Unit Equipment: Vocsn Ventilators, V60 BiPAPs
- Float Requirements: May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Iowa
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner within the last year
- Experience working with Neonate patients
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
Onboarding Requirements
- Must have Iowa SING background check clearance (including criminal and child abuse portions) — no exceptions
- All background checks (county and state) must be fully cleared prior to start; instant or statewide searches are not accepted
- Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult required
- Drug test must be a 10-panel screening including opiates
- Start days allowed: Monday or Tuesday
