Locum NP – Neonatology (NICU) | Arizona | ASAP – Dec 2026
We’re seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a locum tenens opportunity at a well-established hospital in Arizona. This is a long-term assignment (ASAP–Dec 2026) with a mix of scheduled clinical hours + call in a supportive NICU setting.
Assignment Details
- Setting: Inpatient NICU (33-bed unit)
- Schedule: Clinical hours + call
- Patient Volume: ~5 patients per shift
- EMR: Cerner
- Coverage Type: Ongoing (scheduling need)
Responsibilities
- Manage neonatal patients in NICU
- Perform admissions and ongoing care
- Rounding on assigned patients
- Collaborate with neonatology team
Requirements
- Active Arizona NP license
- Board Certified NP
- Neonatology experience (fellowship preferred)
