Description

Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Technologist
Location: Johnson City, NY
Start Date: 05/04/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks (or as applicable)
Schedule: Nights | 40 hours/week

Shift Details:

Sunday: 7:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Monday–Wednesday: 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Technologist to support a high-volume hospital laboratory. The ideal candidate is proficient across all laboratory disciplines, including blood bank, and is comfortable working independently on overnight shifts.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or equivalent
Grandfathered NYS Licensed CLT accepted (proof required, if applicable)

Licensure & Certifications:

Active New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License (required)
BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)

Experience:

Proficiency in all areas of the lab required, including:
- Blood Bank
- Hematology
- Chemistry
- Microbiology

Preferred Qualifications:

ASCP Specialty Certification (recognized by New York State)

Responsibilities:

Perform routine and complex laboratory testing across multiple departments
Ensure accuracy and quality of test results
Maintain compliance with lab safety and regulatory standards
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
Collaborate with healthcare team to support patient care
