Description

Key Responsibilities

Perform MRI scans following physician orders and protocols
Operate 1.5T and 3T GE MRI scanners
Handle complex cases, including:
- Anesthesia patients
- Patients with pacemakers and implants
Ensure patient safety and proper screening procedures
Maintain image quality and perform QA/QC checks
Document procedures accurately
Collaborate with radiologists and care teams

Experience

Minimum 1+ year of acute care hospital MRI experience required
Hands-on experience with:
- 1.5T and 3T GE MRI systems
- High-acuity patient cases

Certifications & Licensure

One of the following required:
- ARRT (MR) – Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- ARRT (R) – Radiography
- ARMRIT – MRI Technologist Certification
