Job Overview
We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outpatient hospice team in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality, patient-centered care to primarily geriatric patients with a life expectancy of six months or less, focusing on comfort, dignity, and support during end-of-life care.

Shift & Schedule

• 5x8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Monday–Friday schedule
• On-call rotation required (weekends and occasional evenings)
• Weekend call approximately every 4–5 weeks 

Assignment Details

• Start Date: May 11, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Setting: Home Health / Hospice
• Average of 5 patient visits per day
• Mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rate
• No floating required 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled hospice and end-of-life care in home settings
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and symptom management
• Administer medications and manage pain effectively
• Educate and support patients and families
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
• Deliver culturally sensitive and compassionate care 

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Experience in Home Health/Hospice and Skilled Nursing
• BLS certification from AHA
• Strong skills in pain management and symptom control 

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic experience (Home Health Hospice preferred)
• Experience with IV therapy and phlebotomy
• Knowledge of end-of-life care practices and ethical considerations
