Job Type: 13-Week Contract +possible extensions

Shift: 3X12, Days and Nights both available
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Cardiac ICU to support a high-acuity unit at a major New York City hospital. This role is ideal for an ICU RN with strong cardiac and critical care experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing complex, critically ill patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiac ICU patients
- Perform continuous patient assessments and respond rapidly to changes in condition
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and lab results
- Administer medications and treatments, including IV infusions and conscious sedation support
- Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State RN License (required)
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience
- AHA BLS (required)
- AHA ACLS (required)
- Experience with IV insertion and phlebotomy
