Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (Days)
Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care. You may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Normal work hours: 36-40 hours/week, with overtime billable after 40 hours
- Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC
- Orientation sessions available regularly
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
- Telemetry experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience with chest tubes, femstops, tracheostomies, continuous bladder irrigations (CBIs), drains, and central lines
- Experience with medication titration including amiodarone, heparin, and dopamine (some titration experience required)
