Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer at Phoenix Children's Hospital (Tucson, AZ)
The need is for a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer, and the candidate must be able to do fetal echo AND pediatric echo
This position is located at:
Phoenix Children's Specialty Care Cardiology Suite 201 5983 E Grant Rd Tucson, AZ 85712
Shift: 8a-5p with one hour break for lunch
Education: Graduation from a CAAHEP or ACCSC accredited cardiac sonography program or equivalent or 10 years' experience in cardiac ultrasound
Experience Requirements
- 6 years full time pediatric cardiac sonography. Required
- 3 years full time experience at Phoenix Children's with proven leadership skills and regular contributions to department projects in addition to primary imaging responsibilities. External candidates must have a proven track record of leadership and commit to leadership activities upon completion of orientation. Required
- 6 months of experience in the Phoenix Children's fetal cardiac program. Preferred
- Endorsement from fetal medical director and echo lab medical director. Required
Additional Requirements
- ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Pediatric (RDCS PE) or CCI Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS). Required
- ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Fetal (RDCS FE) or (RDMS FE) Required
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association. Required
- Membership to professional societies (ASE, SDMS, AIUM, etc). Preferred
