Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a high-acuity surgical services role. This position requires strong multi-specialty OR experience across general surgery, neurology, orthopedics, gynecology, and transplant procedures in a fast-paced, high-volume operating room environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (3x12s)
• Variable weekends and call (to be discussed during interview)
• Floating required within facility and outpatient settings as needed
• Holiday coverage required (no holiday RTO allowed) 

Assignment Details

• Duration: 15 weeks
• OR unit with 1:1 staffing ratio
• 36-hour orientation
• Case volume includes multiple surgical service lines 

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and assist in a wide range of surgical procedures
• Support perioperative patient care from pre-op to intra-op phases
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure surgical safety standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff
• Manage surgical instruments, equipment, and documentation (Epic EMR)

Required Qualifications (HARD STOP)

• Minimum 4 years of Operating Room experience PRIOR to travel
• Must have experience in ALL required service lines:
  • General Surgery
  • Neurology
  • Orthopedics
  • Gynecology
  • Transplant
• Must NOT be first-time traveler
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification from AHA required 

Additional Requirements

• No holiday RTO permitted (holiday blackout periods apply)
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Floating required within OR and outpatient areas
• Call and weekend requirements vary (discussed during interview)
• Full compliance required before start (delays may push orientation by 2 weeks)
• Clinical screening required prior to manager review
