Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – ER (Critical Access Hospital)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH). This role requires a versatile nurse comfortable working in both the Emergency Room (ER) and Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) settings. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, rural hospital environment and be capable of delivering high-quality patient care across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in both ER and Med-Surg units
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care as needed
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications/treatments
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR system (CPSI)
Requirements:
- Active RN license (state-specific)
- BLS & ACLS certifications (required)
- Prior Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience preferred
- Experience in both ER and Med-Surg settings required
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
