Position Overview

A sleep center in Bridgeport, WV is seeking an experienced Travel Sleep Technologist for a 13‑week night‑shift assignment starting 5/4. This role is ideal for a seasoned sleep professional with strong clinical skills, advanced credentialing, and the ability to work independently in a busy overnight environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Sleep Tech experience
• BLS Certification
• One of the following required credentials:
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) – NBRC
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NBRC
  • Certified Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) – NBRC
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) – BRPT
• Strong proficiency in overnight polysomnography, scoring, and troubleshooting
• Experience with sleep staging, respiratory event identification, and PAP titration

Shift Details

• 3×12 nights, 6p–6a
• Weekends as scheduled
• Full‑time hours guaranteed
• Mix of diagnostic and titration studies

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct overnight polysomnographic testing, including setup, monitoring, and scoring
• Perform CPAP/BiPAP titrations and troubleshoot PAP therapy
• Identify sleep stages, respiratory events, cardiac rhythms, limb movements, and arousals
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the night
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate findings to interpreting physicians
• Follow all facility protocols, infection‑control standards, and AASM guidelines
