Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR RN – Leadership/Manager Level)

We are seeking an experienced Travel OR RN for a 13-week assignment in a surgical services department. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong perioperative experience and leadership skills who can support both clinical operations and team coordination in a fast-paced OR environment.

Job Overview

• Schedule: 3x12s (Day Shift)
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Setting: Surgical Services / Operating Room

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily OR operations and workflow
• Support intraoperative nursing care across a variety of surgical specialties
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Supervise and support OR staff including RNs, scrub techs, and support personnel
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices
• Assist with performance improvement initiatives and quality assurance
• Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to OR staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and support patient safety initiatives

Requirements

• Active RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• CNOR certification required
• Minimum 5+ years of OR experience required
• Experience across multiple specialties including ortho, vascular, general, GYN, and urology required
• Previous leadership or manager experience required
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
