Description
Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Home Health
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality patient care in a home health setting. The ideal candidate will assist Physical Therapists in delivering rehabilitative services to patients in their homes, supporting recovery, mobility, and functional independence. While home health experience is preferred, all PTA candidates with relevant clinical experience will be considered.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy treatments in patients’ homes under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to therapy
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and mobility techniques
- Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Maintain compliance with home health regulations and safety standards
Requirements:
- Active PTA license (South Carolina required prior to start)
- BLS certification required
- Home Health experience preferred (all PTA experience considered)
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in a field-based setting
