Job Description
Under the supervision of the RT Supervisor and the Cardiopulmonary Manager, the Respiratory Therapist will provide patient care activities in critical care areas, including adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care. The role also involves training RT personnel in these areas.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience required.
- Critical Care & NICU Experience: Required; must be noted on profile.
- Recent Traveler Experience: Highly preferred.
- Compliance: All compliance documents must be submitted one week prior to starting.

- Skills Checklist (current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty)
- 2 Supervisory Reference Forms (taken within the last two years)
- Licensure & Certifications (OK State License or compact & BLS - AHA)
- Candidates' Permanent Address (local candidates within 50 miles will be considered at a reduced rate)
Additional Information
- Orientation: Allied and Therapy Travelers start orientation on Tuesdays; Nursing Travelers start on Thursdays.
- Call Policy: On-call paid out at $2 per hour with a 1-hour minimum.
- Local Policy: Applicants within 50 miles of Comanche County will be considered for a placement at 11% less than the travel rate.
