Description

GLC Government Services is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to work on a government contract at a federal correctional facility in Fort Worth, TX.

 

Pay: $41.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, excluding federal holidays. ​
  • Work hours are typically 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with a 30-minute, unpaid lunch break. ​

Location: Federal Medical Center, Carswell, Fort Worth, TX

 

Qualifications:

· Clear and active RN license in the state of Texas

· Must have an active BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

· Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience

· Must provide proof of graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing.

· Ability to pass a background and security clearance

 

Scope of Work: (but not limited to)

The RN is responsible for providing direct patient care services, performing nursing duties, administering medications, assisting with pill lines, monitoring therapy, performing skin testing, providing diagnostic and preventive health care, taking medical histories, ordering and interpreting lab tests, performing venipuncture, maintaining logs, ensuring sharps security, maintaining patient privacy, adhering to infection control, operating EKG, managing injuries, attending emergencies, collaborating with staff physicians, managing clinic operations, and performing additional duties as required by the COR. ​
