Description

Ready to make a meaningful impact at a premier district in Norwalk, CT? Cross Country Education is looking for a versatile Special Education Teacher to join a dedicated high school team for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year!

Position Overview:

Partner with general education teachers to provide specialized instruction and modifications within an inclusive classroom setting.
Lead small-group sessions focused on executive functioning skills and provide direct instruction for core subjects in a self-contained environment.
Facilitate the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs); utilize specialized software (IEP Direct) to collect, analyze, and report on student data.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree
Valid Connecticut Special Education Certification (165 Endorsement Required)
Proven experience with IEP data collection and proficiency in IEP management software
Prior experience in various classroom environments, ranging from co-teaching to self-contained settings (Preferred)
