💼 Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (RNFA) | 13-Week Contract

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RNFA) for an exciting contract opportunity at a well-established healthcare facility.

📍 Job Details:

• Location: Cheshire Medical Center, NH
• Start Date: May 11, 2026
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Day Shift (10-hour shifts)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Hours: 40 hours/week
• Call Requirement: On-call every 4th weekend

💼 Position Overview:

The OR RNFA will work within a collaborative surgical services team, assisting in a wide range of procedures while ensuring high-quality patient care in the operating room setting.

🧠 Key Responsibilities:

• Function as a First Assist (RNFA) during surgical procedures
• Provide direct patient care in the operating room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members
• Ensure adherence to sterile techniques and patient safety standards
• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative care
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records

🏥 Unit & Facility Highlights:

• 5 Operating Room suites (+1 in Labor & Delivery)
• Diverse patient population (infant to geriatric; inpatient & outpatient)
• RN-to-patient ratio: 1:1
• Collaborative OR team including RNFA, RNs, CSTs, and support staff

Surgical Specialties Include:

• Orthopedic and trauma (primary focus)
• ENT procedures
• Cataract surgeries
• C-sections

Note: Experience in ENT, cataracts, and C-sections is not required, but willingness to train is expected.

✅ Requirements:

• Active RN License (New Hampshire or Compact)
• BLS Certification
• Recent RNFA / First Assist experience (required)
• Strong Operating Room experience
