Licensed Master Social Worker (MSW/LMSW) – Correctional Setting
Must be willing to attend an on-site interview
Contract:
- Length: 1‑year contract
- Start Date: 4/27
- Renewal: Eligible for renewal up to 2 years
Schedule:
- Hours: Approx 40 hrs/week
- Days: Mon–Fri
- Weekends: None
- Exact shift/hours discussed during interview
Setting:
- Correctional / incarcerated population
- Must be comfortable working with inmates
Responsibilities:
- Assessment: Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, core history evaluations, and suicide/risk assessments
- Therapy: Provide individual psychotherapy as the primary therapist
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement assessment‑based treatment plans
- Clinical Documentation: Complete weekly/monthly progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge plans per policy and procedure
- Diagnosis: Diagnose emotional and behavioral disorders
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
Requirements:
- Education: MSW or LMSW
- Experience: 1+ year of clinical experience
- Skills: Strong assessment, documentation, and therapeutic skills
- Preference: Prior experience in a correctional or forensic setting
