Looking for your next rewarding assignment in sunny California? We’re hiring an experienced Pre-Op RN to join a busy outpatient surgery center at a highly respected acute care hospital in Fullerton, CA!

📍 Assignment Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days – 5x8s (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
• Setting: Outpatient Surgery Center
• Patient Ratio: 1:4

✅ Requirements

• 3+ years of PreOp or PACU experience
• Strong ophthalmology experience (required – no exceptions)
• Epic charting experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• First-time travelers welcome (with 5+ years PreOp experience) 

📜 Certifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS – required
• CAPA – preferred 

🛠 Key Skills

• Pre-op assessments, education & medication administration
• Airway assessment & cardiac monitoring
• IV starts & phlebotomy
• Dysrhythmia recognition & emergency response
• Experience with:
  • Cataract & ophthalmology procedures 👁️
  • General, ortho, plastics, and robotic surgeries 

📌 Additional Info

• No block scheduling
• Floating may be required
• Up to 5 days RTO allowed
• Facility may cancel 1 shift per 2-week period
