Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Stepdown / Progressive Care Unit (CVU) assignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac care, be comfortable with EKG interpretation, and demonstrate flexibility to float across similar units as needed.
Schedule & Work Requirements
- Shift: 12-hour Day shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- On-Call: May be required
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Stepdown / Progressive Care experience
- Demonstrated cardiac care proficiency
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Strong competency in EKG monitoring and interpretation
- Ability and willingness to float to similar units as needed
Certifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
