Travel Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech)

We are seeking an experienced Travel X-Ray Tech for a 13-week assignment in an acute care hospital setting. This role is ideal for a technologist who is flexible, dependable, and comfortable working a rotating schedule in a fast-paced imaging department.

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Guaranteed Hours: 36–40 hours per week
• Setting: Acute Care Hospital

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Ensure proper patient positioning, safety, and radiation protection
• Operate imaging equipment and maintain image quality standards
• Assist with portable imaging as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for accurate diagnosis
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
• Provide excellent patient care and communication throughout procedures

Requirements

• ARRT (R) certification required
• Active state license required (or eligible to obtain)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1+ year of radiology experience required
• Ability to adapt to rotating schedules and department needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Alternating schedule:
  • Week 1: 3x12s
  • Week 2: 4x10s
• Alternating weekend coverage required
• Shift times vary between day and evening hours
• Floating may be required within imaging department
