Job Title: Travel Radiologic Technologist
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 2nd Shift – 7 on / 7 off schedule
Hours: 70 hours per scheduled week
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Travel Radiologic Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team in Milwaukee, WI. The technologist will perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and compliance with radiation protection standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams
- Obtain and document patient medical history in RIS
- Ensure radiation safety following ALARA standards
- Review images for technical quality and accuracy
- Upload and archive images in PACS
- Follow EPIC workflow for order verification and exam documentation
- Communicate with radiologists and care teams regarding imaging protocols
- Assist with patient transport and exam room preparation as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in diagnostic radiology
- Graduate of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
Certifications
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist – RT(R)
- Wisconsin Radiographer License
- BLS (AHA)
Additional Information
- Must be comfortable working flexible schedules including weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain workflow efficiency in a high-volume imaging department
