POSITION OVERVIEW:

To plan and provide for total patient care through the use of the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs. To direct and guide patient teaching, and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with current Iowa RN license
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required
• Experience preferred, but not required

HOURS:

Full-time day shift.

Three 12-hour day shifts per week. Holiday & weekend rotation.

Pay period: Monday through Sunday.

Please note if the traveler accepts this offer, the agency must provide proof of the following Employment and Health Requirements no later than (5) FIVE business days prior to their contract start date. Failure to provide items in their entirety to Human Resources at JCHC could prevent the agency contractor from starting on the agreed-upon contract start date.

· Two recent employment references

· Online verification of licensure or certification to include expiration date and any disciplinary actions within 30 days of start date

· All copies of required certifications: BLS, ACLS (through American Heart Association) - PALS/TNCC preferred

· Immunizations to include:

o MMR (Mumps, Rubeola & Rubella) either 2 doses or Positive Titers

o Varicella-positive titer or 2 Varicella Vaccines

o Polio

o Hepatitis B Series, titer or signed declination

o Current TDaP – Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis (dated within 10 years of start)

o COVID-19 vaccine

o Flu vaccination during Flu Season (Oct 1st – March 31st)

o Negative 2-step Mantoux within 1 year of start or the QuantiFERON Gold

- If Positive, must provide proof of positive & chest x-ray results

o Proof of physical within 1 year of start date

o 10 Panel Drug Screen within 1 month of start date

· Respiratory Fit Test within 1 year of start date (we can provide RFT if not available)

· Criminal Background (All states where they hold a professional license and have lived/worked in the past 7 years) within 30 days of start date

· National &/or State Sex Offender

· GSA(EPLS) Sam.gov within 30 days of start date

· OIG-Date within 30 days of start date

· Iowa Mandatory Reporter Certificates (Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse)

· Completion of CareLearning education modules (further instructions will be provided by JCHC) Mandatory Reporter will be added to modules if the candidate is not certified. Must have completed prior to start
