Job Title: Registered Nurse- Operating Room
Location: San Diego, CA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Shift: Day Shift – 3x12 hours
On-Call: Two 8-hour call shifts every 4 weeks (30-minute response time)

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic, and patient-centered care. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and promote positive health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Advocate for patients and families to ensure quality and safe care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Provide patient and family education based on individualized learning needs
• Delegate appropriate tasks to healthcare team members within scope of practice
• Participate in patient care conferences and care coordination activities
• Address cultural and communication barriers to improve patient outcomes

Required Experience

• Minimum 3 years recent RN experience
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in a specialty area
• Travel nursing experience required
• Scrub experience required
• Orthopedic, Neuro, and Robotics experience required

Certifications & Licensure

• Active California RN License
• CPR/BLS
• NRP Certification
