🏥 Position Overview

Unit: Step Down (Progressive Care)
Shift: Nights — 3x12s
⏰ 19:00 – 07:30
Weekly Hours: 36 (guaranteed)

👩‍⚕️ Patient Load & Acuity

Ratio: 1:4
Patient Type: Higher-acuity step-down (borderline ICU-level skills required)

You’ll be managing patients who are stable enough for step-down but still require advanced monitoring and interventions.

⚙️ Required Clinical Skills

You must be comfortable with:

Ventilator management
Titration of:
- Vasopressors
- Sedation drips
- Insulin drips
Managing:
- Trachs
- Arterial lines
- External pacemakers
- Chest tubes

📌 Important: Must have been actively working bedside within the last 6 months

📋 Experience & Credentials

Experience Required: 2+ years
First-time travelers: ❌ Not accepted
Certifications Required:
- ACLS
- BCLS
- NIH Stroke Scale

🗓️ Scheduling Details

Weekend Requirement:
- Every other weekend
- Nights:
  - Either Friday/Saturday OR Saturday/Sunday (depends on rotation)
Block Scheduling: ❌ Not available
On-call: ❌ None
