Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Med-Surg Charge Nurse position working a 7 on / 7 off night shift schedule. This role requires strong leadership experience in an acute care setting and the ability to manage patient flow, staff coordination, and unit operations during assigned shifts.

The Charge Nurse will be responsible for overseeing patient care delivery on a Med-Surg unit, ensuring safe staffing, supporting clinical decision-making, and maintaining high-quality standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as Charge Nurse for Med-Surg unit during night shifts
• Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned shifts
• Coordinate patient care and manage unit workflow
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and clinical standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient management
• Monitor patient acuity and assign staffing appropriately
• Provide leadership in high-pressure clinical situations

Requirements:

• Active RN License
• Minimum 1 year recent Charge Nurse experience (required)
• Strong Med-Surg acute care experience
• Ability to work 7 on / 7 off night shift schedule
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
