Position Overview

A high‑volume imaging department in Paramus, NJ is seeking an experienced Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week day‑shift assignment starting 5/11. This role requires a tech who is confident scrubbing into procedures, supporting the interventionalist, and working across IR, vascular, and neurovascular cases.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of IR experience
• ARRT (R)
• BLS & ACLS
• Active New Jersey Radiologic Technologist License
  • Or ability to apply immediately upon offer
• Must be able to scrub on cases and assist the interventionalist
• Permanent address must be 75+ miles from the facility (or rate will be reduced)

• 4×10 Day Shifts, 9a–7:30p
• Consistent daytime schedule
• High‑acuity IR environment with vascular and neurovascular procedures
• Expect a mix of diagnostic and interventional cases

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist during interventional radiology, vascular, and neurovascular procedures
• Prepare rooms, equipment, and sterile fields
• Operate imaging systems and support physicians throughout procedures
• Position patients safely and ensure radiation protection standards
• Document accurately and maintain workflow efficiency
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to ensure high‑quality patient care
