- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- 2 Years of Telemetry/PCU Experience
- MUST PASS TELEMETRY - LIST B
- NC or Compact License
- 80 Mile Local Radius Rule
- EPIC and Travel Experience Required
- Requires trach care
- Ratio 1:4
- Bed Count: 32-bed stepdown unit
Primary Population: Primary location for medicine patients requiring stepdown level of care.
Commonly utilized skills include:
Central line management
Respiratory management
Tracheotomy patients
IV start skills
Peripheral lab draws
Arterial blood draws
Various intravenous drips (e.g.cardiac, insulin, heparin, and cardiac monitoring)
